St. Tropez Resort Bailan Bay

Bailan Bay is just 1km from the very popular Lonely Beach area and close to Bang Bao the centre of the islands water sports activities, the bay has also attracted the Dusit luxury hotel group who invested in the bay area with the opening of the Dusit Princess Resort in 2008.

The St. Tropez Resort sits on sloping land besides the road as you drive into Bailan Bay on the left and as is the first visible resort as you enter the bay area. The Resort consists of a centrally located Bar / Restaurant which also offers a free internet point, pool table and lounge area plus seating for diners. The kitchen is fully equipped and the staff housing is self contained within the Bar / Restaurant building. In front their is plenty of parking available for guests or passers by who decide to stop by.  Also to the side of the building there is a Petanque (French Bowls) area for those interested in playing or giving it a try and to the rear of the building is a covered area with a ping pong table and hammocks for the quests to enjoy.

Within the carefully landscaped grounds sit the seven Thai styled bungalow guest accommodation, following the natural slope of the land gives the bungalows a sea view of the bay from their individual balconies.

Each bungalow is well constructed and offers a twin room with fan and a western style wet room / bathroom with hot shower, this configuration is typical of the facilities offered by most bungalows in and around the Lonely Beach area and is ideal for pricing the accommodation to pick up from the Lonely Beach overflow during the high season. Of course it would also be fairly inexpensive for the new owner to upgrade the bungalows to include air conditioning, cable tv etc should they wish to aim for higher room rates in the future.

Included with the sale of the business is transference of the current Thai Ltd Company to the new owner, all fixture's and fittings and goodwill. The resort is held on a leasehold basis with a 15 year term and an annual rent of 100,000 bht per annum and the land is registered with a chanote title.
